Since first stepping onto a musical theatre
stage at the tender age of fourteen, James
has had entertainment flowing through his veins. Not content with any one
particular avenue of the creative industries, his career is a collage of
experience obtained from musical theatre, international ice-skating
championships and shows, dancing in cabaret and production shows, playing piano
in hotels, and restaurants, both here and overseas. And with 17 years experience
in the television industry, these days you'll find him coaching future figure
skating champions, choreographing, producing and directing for musical revues,
corporate theatre shows, and television productions.
With a solid induction of classical
music, Shane has advanced his musical skills to most styles of popular music
from jazz to modern rock and pop. His professional career began as a
keyboard/vocalist in various cabaret and rock bands in Brisbane. His solo career
took him to Sydney where, since 1980, he has entertained in piano bars,
restaurants, clubs and hotels, including performances on television and musical
theatre. A long stretch at sea as resident pianist aboard P&O's
"Fairstar" had him rubbing sunburnt shoulders with the cream of
Sydney's cabaret artists, and offered him extensive experience in live theatre
revue performances.
Jenelle Lawrence - Vocalist - Vocal Coach
Growing up in a musical family, singing and performing for Jenelle has and is a long-held love. From her humble beginnings performing in school performances, Jenelle has gone on to establish her own voice and performance teaching courses, and is continually in demand by the top music and dance schools on the Gold Coast. Performing on national television including Channel 9’s Carols in the Park, and numerous community theatre productions as well as working as a session vocalist for many bands and solo artists around the country, Jenelle's exceptional range affords her the ability to sing everything from Country to Opera (with a little Rock for fun). Jenelle is trained in the world-renowned Estill method and is certified with AMEB in both classical and contemporary voice.
Geoff Rayner - Music Producer
Geoff is a passionate performer whose live shows are a perfect blend of the latest Top 40 hits and party classics. Playing intimate acoustic or highly produced electric performance shows proves his ability to connect to any audience. With many years experience playing live in professional bands, Geoff has also written, performed and produced music for television, radio and corporate conferencing. An experienced performer and accomplished guitarist, Geoff brings to life all the orchestrations and arrangements for Theatre On Ice, from Broadway musicals to today's most popular artists such as Miley Cyrus, Robbie Williams and Nirvana, just to name a few. His infectious enthusiasm, love of live music and professional approach combine to showcase Geoff as a diverse, talented performer and technician, whose musical production will leave a lasting impression with any crowd in any venue.
